An in-person workshop hosted by New Financial, in partnership with the City of London Corporation, to discuss the future of the UK as a competitive marketplace. As part of the Corporation’s ‘Finance for Growth’ project, this in-person event will provide an opportunity to discuss and feed directly into the project’s four key themes with a key focus on the UK as a competitive marketplace.
Key questions will include:
• How can the UK ensure it remains a competitive financial marketplace?
• How does a competitive international financial centre benefit the ‘real economy’ in the UK?
• What is the value-add of a strong UK financial services sector?
• What steps can and should the UK take beyond the programme of reforms already underway?
