AI and disruptive tech Q&A with the FSSC

5 February 2026

Driving diversity

As AI is increasingly adopted in more and more areas across business and technology continues to develop at a rapid pace, we need to improve our understanding of the benefits and challenges of AI’s impact on the current and future workforce. At this event, we will hear from Claire Tunley, Chief Executive of the FSSC, which has been commissioned by HM Treasury to conduct research on this topic. The project, led by the FSSC in partnership with HMT and Skills England, will consider how skills needs will change, what needs to be done to achieve maximum potential for growth and recommendations for specific action.

We will cover the initial findings from the FSSC’s research, and Claire will also talk about the FSSC’s forthcoming initiative to create a skills compact for financial services. The session will be chaired by Yasmine Chinwala, Partner at New Financial, and include live Q&A with the audience.

We expect attendees to include a mixture of DEI, talent, L&D leads, HR, workforce development and skills, tech roles, as well as those responsible, accountable or with a keen interest in DEI / opportunity and inclusion / skills from business-facing roles.
