Black History Month Q&A with Cecil Peters, JP Morgan
12 July 2022
Driving diversity
In three short months UK Black History Month will begin, and many organisations will run events and initiatives to highlight Black history, arts and culture, and showcase Black excellence. But there is also an opportunity to leverage Black History Month to contribute to strategic diversity, equity and inclusion aims – for example, bringing leadership into discussions on race, raising the profile of Black role models and allies, and holding organisations to account on data, initiatives focused on Black colleagues, and promises made in the aftermath of the murder of George Floyd two years ago.
At this lunchtime virtual session, we will hear from Cecil Peters, EMEA Head of DEI and Advancing Black Pathways at JP Morgan, about how he is approaching Black History Month at JP Morgan and how it can be used to leverage key DEI objectives, including Q&A and comments from attendees.
We expect attendees to include network leads, HR, DEI, and those in business-facing roles who are responsible for or interested in contributing to Black History Month.
