At this private event, Marcel Haag, director of horizontal policies at DG FISMA will discuss the future of EU capital markets.

In his role, Marcel oversees a range of initiatives that cut across all aspects of capital markets, including: capital markets union, sustainable finance, retail financial services, digital finance and technological innovation. The discussion will be a ‘half-term report’ of the Commission’s work and focus on the progress made across these initiatives and the challenges ahead in the coming years.
