Expanding UK D&I reporting framework
12 November 2026
Driving diversity

The UK financial services regulators may have dropped their D&I policy work last year, but the UK government has picked up the baton. As well as consulting on ethnicity and disability pay gap reporting, the government has set out its expectations for detailed (and quite prescriptive) reporting on gender pay gap action plans.
In this session, the New Financial team will present our initial findings from our research on what a sample of FS firms with the biggest reporting obligations (i.e. the FS companies in the FTSE100, plus the Bank of England and the Financial Conduct Authority) are already doing across these areas of enhanced (and currently voluntary) reporting. We will discuss what “good” looks, and the benefits and challenges of the reporting requirements. The session will include polls and live Q&A with the audience.
We expect attendees to include a mixture of D&I and HR leads, those involved with D&I data/ comms, and those from across the business with an interest in or accountability for D&I / opportunity and inclusion.
