Felicity Buchan on ‘The role of the City - the big picture’

Felicity is a member of Treasury Committee and was elected as the Conservative MP for Kensington at the 2019 election. Before entering politics, she worked in debt capital markets at Bank of America and JP Morgan.

This event is the first in a series of informal ‘Meet the MP’ events that we have launched at New Financial and we’re looking forward to hosting Gareth Davies (MP for Grantham and Stamford, ex-Columbia Threadneedle) and Nickie Aiken (MP for the Cities of London and Westminster) in the next few months, with more to come in future.

We’ll be discussing a wide range of topics including:

• the level and range in understanding in Westminster of the City;

• the politics of banking and finance;

• the post-Brexit future of the City;
