Focus on Black Inclusion report launch

Five years on from New Financial’s ground-breaking Accelerating Black Inclusion report, written at a time when Black inclusion was at the top of the agenda in the wake of the murder of George Floyd, this research brings together both quantitative and qualitative reflections on our 2021 findings. Our research assesses what has and has not changed for the financial services industry on the topic of Black inclusion, and suggests next steps.

The event programme will include:

• Presentation of the highlights of the research;

• Keynote address from Therese Chambers, Joint Executive Director of Enforcement and Market Oversight at the Financial Conduct Authority;

• Panel discussion, including Yvonne Kunihira-Davidson, Managing Director & EMEA Head of Tax Solutions at S&P Global, and Black British Business Awards Person of the Year in 2025.

Additional speakers will be confirmed shortly. The session will be chaired by Yasmine Chinwala, Partner at New Financial, and include live Q&A with the audience.

We expect attendees to include people working in a range of job titles: leaders and aspiring leaders, those with accountability for (or an interest in) D&I, diversity leads/champions or network representatives, D&I and HR.
