Post Informal ECOFIN deep dive

Our paper frames the complexity of EU financial regulation in the context of market outcomes in EU banking, finance, and capital markets; analyses the evolution of this complexity and its main drivers; and outlines some broad principles for the simplification of both the ‘stock’ of the existing framework and the ‘flow’ of future initiatives.

After presenting and discussing our paper with EU economy and finance ministers and central bank governors in Copenhagen we will also provide in our webinar the key points that we took away from the discussion at the Informal ECOFIN meeting.

We expect participants at this webinar to be a small group of members of New Financial and contributors to the research, and we will be happy to take and comment on your questions.
