Roundtable discussion with Sir David Gauke

This event will be an opportunity to discuss the objectives of Prosper UK since its launch and his contributions to public policy and reform. Sir David will also discuss his experience in government as Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice, and his perspectives on the ongoing reform agenda. He will share his thoughts on UK politics, the current Labour government, and the outlook for the Conservatives.

We expect participants to be a combination of senior policy and regulation specialists, governance and government affairs specialists, and a handful of government officials and policymakers.

About Sir David Gauke:

Sir David is the Vice-Chair of Prosper UK and Head of Public Policy at Macfarlanes, a Senior Adviser at Instinctif Partners, and Chair of Negotient LLP. He previously served as the MP for South West Hertfordshire from 2005 - 2019, and during his time as an MP he held senior government positions including Chief Secretary to the Treasury (2016–2017), Secretary of State for Work and Pensions (2017–2018), and Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice (2018–2019).
