The next step for targets?... Evolving D&I metrics

New Financial’s latest HM Treasury Women in Finance Charter data shows that there are early signs of innovation in D&I metrics – a handful of firms are moving from a focus on a single representation target to a broader basket of metrics, incorporating wider representation data, inclusion measures and key indicators of strategic D&I priority outcomes.

At this session, Jenny Barrow and Yasmine Chinwala will present our initial thoughts, discuss the benefits and challenges of such approaches, and run polls and live Q&A with the audience.

We expect attendees to include a mixture of D&I and HR leads, those involved with D&I data/ comms, and those from across the business with an interest in or accountability for D&I / opportunity and inclusion.

• Jennifer Barrow is a part time Senior Adviser to New Financial’s D&I programme. She runs her own consultancy practice and was previously head of corporate responsibility for the Financial Conduct Authority.
