Workshop series: The impact of the Covid crisis on D&I

23 April 2020

Driving diversity

These are unprecedented times, and we are all in survival mode. This virtual event is an opportunity for you (and/or a colleague) to talk to your counterparts at firms across the industry about how the Covid crisis is impacting your firm’s D&I agenda, including how D&I is being incorporated into your Covid response, and the challenges and benefits of a mass transition to home working.

We invite you to pose questions and share practices, and even think ahead about how this crisis could (and should) permanently shift the default on key barriers to diversity such as flexible working, presenteeism, how high-profile work is allocated and how we socialise with colleagues.

We realise that many of our member firms are busy with their Covid response and adapting to remote working arrangements (as are we!). With that in mind, we are adjusting our scheduled programme to be more responsive to your needs – we want to use this call to get your feedback on how we can be most useful to you at this time, what areas you have headspace for, and prioritise the New Financial diversity programme accordingly.

This event is likely to be attended by people working in a range of job titles across D&I and HR, and from the business side those with accountability for D&I or diversity leads/champions. If you are not the right person for this invite, please do let me know and pass it on to a colleague.
